“The Future Young Creators of Korça” Successfully Presented Their Projects at Demo Day
The project “The Future Young Creators of Korça”, implemented by the Community Foundation “Korçarët Ndihmojmë Korçarët” (Korçars Helping Korçars), concluded successfully with the Demo Day event, where the teams of young participants selected for their outstanding ideas proudly presented their completed projects to a large audience.

The project “The Future Young Creators of Korça," implemented by the Community Foundation “Korçarët Ndihmojmë Korçarët” (Korçars Helping Korçars), concluded successfully with the Demo Day event, where the teams of young participants selected for their outstanding ideas proudly presented their completed projects to a large audience.
The seven ideas, now transformed into working prototypes, impressed attendees with their potential benefits for the community while demonstrating the imagination, capability, and creative talent of young people from educational institutions across the Municipality of Korça.
During the implementation of the project, a total of 18 ideas were submitted by 45 young participants aged 14–22 from educational institutions within the Municipality of Korça, including “Faik Konica” Foreign Languages High School, “Platon” High School, “Ymer Dishnica” High School, “Themistokli Gërmenji” High School, “Raqi Qirinxhi” High School, Preka College, “Sotir Gurra” 9-Year School, “Mësonjëtorja e Parë” School, and Fan S. Noli University of Korça.**
The Evaluation Committee, composed of engineer Antoneta Gjinko, professor Marijon Pano, and Petri Pene, met on April 22, 2026, to assess the submitted ideas. Following the review of the applications and an open hearing during which all applicants had the opportunity to present and explain their concepts in detail before fellow participants, the committee selected the seven best ideas. These projects received financial support through the initiative and were subsequently developed into prototypes, which were showcased during Demo Day.
The Selected Projects
1. Xhersi Kodra and Klea Kosho – Platon College
The NexaPulse** is a futuristic concept for a bio-engineered, self-repairing vehicle designed to address challenges such as pollution, high energy consumption, and the frequent damage associated with traditional vehicles. The concept presents a transportation system that functions not merely as a mechanical vehicle but as an intelligent structure capable of generating energy from organic sources, adapting to environmental conditions, and regenerating its own components when damaged.
2. Bergi Mema, Arber Dacolli, Enzo Ramollari, Johana Naco, and Frenk Samsuri – Preka College
Their project focused on the construction of an ultrasonic levitator, a device that defies gravity by keeping small objects suspended in the air without any physical contact. This highly advanced form of “transport” has potential applications in processes that require absolute sterility.
3. Anjel Bala, Nikola Bardhi, Olga Xheka, Gabriel Zhiva, and Natali Llogori—"Raqi "Qirinxhi" High School
The team developed an agricultural robot designed to assist farmers by saving time and reducing physical effort. The robot functions as a small autonomous machine capable of moving independently across agricultural land and supporting tasks such as planting, irrigation, and monitoring crop conditions.
4. Ervis Ogreni – “Ymer Dishnica” High School**
Ervis presented a prototype that revives the spirit of classic arcade games through an intelligent interactive football stadium, where two players compete using joysticks.
5. Roel Haredini, Hermes Xhemollari, Angel Qyteti, and Vangjush Xhialli – “Themistokli Gërmenji” High School
The team introduced a smart greenhouse prototype capable of monitoring and managing multiple environmental factors, including temperature, artificial lighting, automated irrigation, and more.
6. Mei Kapurani and Tomas Zhuti – “Mësonjëtorja e Parë Shqipe” School
They presented “The Library Without Walls," a digital platform that enables students and teachers to access books, journals, and educational materials in electronic format. The platform facilitates information search and use, allowing educational resources to be accessed from any internet-connected device, making learning easier and more efficient.
7. Greis Becolli, Albi Larti, Albi Trungu, Gisela Kulla, and Xhimi Baraku – Preka College
Their project, Solar Tracker, enhances the efficiency of solar panels by automatically orienting them toward the strongest available light source.
