The beautiful journey through the galaxy of technology brought the “Drita” application to life.

🌟 The Demo Day of the project “Empowering Young Technology Leaders from Korça” was successfully held — a project sponsored by Smile.al (Credins Foundation) and implemented by the Community Foundation “Korçarët Ndihmojmë Korçarët.”

Five young participants from Korça showcased their leadership skills in technology and brought to life the “Drita” application, an app dedicated to elderly people living alone. It was truly inspiring to witness these young individuals, with dedication and deep love for their grandparents, complete this meaningful and noble project during their three-month journey through the galaxy of technology.

In the presence of parents and invited guests, they explained not only the advanced technological concepts behind the application but also its practical functionality, which was designed to support elderly people in different aspects of daily life.

The “Drita” application is a solution created to support senior citizens through three main features: 📋 request creation, 💊 medication reminders, and 🚨 an emergency button. This is not only a technological achievement but also a reflection of human compassion, care, and support for the generation most loved and respected by all of us—our grandparents.

Present at the event, the prefect of the Korça region, Mrs. Florinda Zegullaj, congratulated the young participants for this remarkable achievement and expressed her highest appreciation for the care, attention, and love they showed toward the elderly generation, describing this as the greatest achievement of all.

At the conclusion of the program, the participants were awarded certificates and gifts in recognition of their engagement, dedication, and hard work throughout the entire journey.
