One of our Foundation’s major commitments is to supporting art, culture and initiatives that promote our beloved city in all its dimensions.
One of our Foundation’s major commitments is to supporting art, culture, and initiatives that promote our beloved city in all its dimensions.
Through its support of the 4th International “Niko Nikolla” Cartoon Biennale, held in our city from October 31 to November 1, the Community Foundation “Korçarët Ndihmojmë Korçarët” sponsored the Grand Prix winner of this edition, Belgian cartoonist Stefaan Provijn.
Furthermore, participants in the Biennale, together with renowned artist Agim Sulaj and Flora Nikolla, the Biennale’s organizer, joined an initiative to establish a summer school for talented young people from Korçë interested in the art of cartooning.
We sincerely hope that this initiative will develop into a concrete project, creating new opportunities for young local talent to learn, develop their artistic skills, and become part of the wider world of visual arts.
